Adrienne Merriott

ATTORNEY

Attorney Adrienne Merriott practices in the areas of business law, franchise law, and civil litigation, working alongside Principal Attorney Joe Dye Culik. After graduating from the University of Arkansas School of Law, Adrienne moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to enjoy the city's amenities while being close to the beautiful Appalachian Mountains and the beaches along the coast.

In Charlotte, Adrienne first worked in-house at a private company where she learned from a first-hand perspective how businesses operate, anticipate, and respond to risk and what their priorities and goals are.  After immersing herself in the unique needs of the business as her sole client, she came away with a broad yet nuanced understanding of what a business needs from a legal perspective, from founding documents to multi-faceted operating agreements to risk mitigation and management.

With a background in medicine prior to her entry to law school, Adrienne has developed a reputation for concise and effective communication; her approach to the law and cases is logical, systematic, and effective. Adrienne understands that for business owners, the health of their business is of the utmost importance, which is why she custom-tailors her guidance to their specific needs. Adrienne takes her role as an advocate and a counselor seriously and is always happy to speak to clients about their business requirements and goals.

Adrienne currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her partner, Daniel Rodriguez, and their two rescue dogs, Freddy (a lab mix) and Neo (a pomsky). She enjoys reading science fiction, water sports, taking day trips to the scenic coast or hiking the nearby mountains, and trying the many wonderful restaurants in Charlotte.
